The D2-238 replacement rings are designed specifically for compatible GiroDisc rear rotor assemblies used on the Porsche 991 GT3 Cup and GT4 Clubsport.

If your car is already equipped with the appropriate GiroDisc rear rotor system, these are the replacement friction rings used to service those assemblies.

Reuse your existing GiroDisc aluminum hats and replace the worn friction rings and mounting hardware.

Both applications use the 380mm × 30mm D2-238 rear replacement ring with the appropriate GiroDisc rotor hats.

380x30mm Slotted Racing Rotor Rings

The D2-238 uses a 380mm diameter × 30mm thick friction ring designed for demanding track and competition use.

GiroDisc rotor rings feature a slotted friction surface and internal cooling-vane design intended to handle the repeated high-energy braking and thermal cycling encountered in racing.

The slotted surface provides a consistent interface between the brake pad and rotor during demanding track use.

Keep the Hats – Replace the Wear Components

One of the primary advantages of the GiroDisc two-piece rotor system is its long-term serviceability.

The iron friction ring is the primary wear component. Once the ring reaches its service limit, the existing GiroDisc aluminum center hat can be retained as long as it remains in serviceable condition.

Simply replace the rotor rings and hardware instead of purchasing another complete set of rotor assemblies.

For GT3 Cup and GT4 Clubsport cars that consume brake rotors regularly, this can significantly reduce the long-term cost of maintaining the braking system.

Replacement Hardware Included

GiroDisc supplies the D2-238 replacement rings as a pair with new replacement hardware.

The existing GiroDisc aluminum center hats are reused.

This gives you the wear components needed to properly refresh your existing GiroDisc rear rotor assemblies.

Important – For GiroDisc Hats

These D2-238 replacement rings are designed for compatible GiroDisc rotor hats.

They are not the replacement rings for the factory Porsche/PFC rotor hats.

GiroDisc offers a different rotor ring for customers who want to retain the factory Porsche/PFC hats, so it is important to identify which rotor system is currently installed on the car before ordering.

Need Complete GiroDisc Rotors?

If your car does not already have a GiroDisc rear rotor system, replacement rings alone are not sufficient.

For the 991 GT3 Cup, use the complete GiroDisc A2-238 rear rotor assemblies.

The GT4 Clubsport uses a different complete GiroDisc rotor assembly, even though it shares the D2-238 replacement friction rings.

Once the appropriate complete GiroDisc system is installed, these D2-238 rings can be used for future rotor service.
