Complete Rear Caliper Rebuild Kit

Cup and Clubsport brake calipers operate under extreme temperatures, high loads and repeated heat cycles. Over time, pistons, seals and anti-knockback components can wear or become damaged and require replacement.

These race calipers are serviceable, allowing worn internal components to be replaced rather than requiring replacement of the complete caliper assembly.

Demon Speed combines the primary rear caliper service components into one convenient rebuild kit.

The Demon Speed rebuild kit uses PFC replacement pistons and seals along with Porsche Motorsport anti-knockback springs.

The PFC pistons and seals are not Porsche Motorsport branded components. The PFC replacement pistons use a different coating than the Porsche Motorsport piston kit. The Porsche Motorsport piston and seal part numbers above are provided for application and cross-reference purposes.

The included anti-knockback springs are Porsche Motorsport components, corresponding to Porsche Motorsport Part Number 9913529638A.

Why Rebuild the Caliper?

A complete race caliper is an expensive component. When the caliper body and other major components remain serviceable, rebuilding the caliper allows worn internal components to be replaced while retaining the existing caliper assembly.

A caliper rebuild may be appropriate during scheduled brake-system maintenance or when inspection identifies worn or damaged pistons, seals or anti-knockback components.

During service, the caliper body, piston bores, bleed screws and other hardware should also be inspected and serviced or replaced as required.
