Upgrade or replace the front brake rotors on your Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport with the GiroDisc A1-266 two-piece floating rotor system.

Designed as a direct replacement for the original GT4 Clubsport front brake discs, these 380 × 32mm rotors combine GiroDisc’s proprietary cast-iron friction rings with lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum center hats and a floating mounting system.

The complete assemblies are designed to work with the factory brake calipers without modification.

Designed for the Porsche GT4 Clubsport

The GiroDisc A1-266 system is designed for Porsche GT4 Clubsport applications using the appropriate factory brake configuration.

Unlike the 991 GT3 Cup, which uses centerlock wheels, the conventional GT4 Clubsport uses a five-lug wheel mounting arrangement. GiroDisc offers different complete rotor part numbers to accommodate the corresponding center-hat requirements.

The A1-266 is the GT4 Clubsport complete front rotor assembly, while the A1-238 is the corresponding 991 GT3 Cup assembly.

Although the complete rotor hats differ, the applications share compatible GiroDisc replacement friction rings.

Two-Piece Floating Rotor Construction

Each GiroDisc front rotor combines a cast-iron friction ring with a lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum center hat.

The floating mounting system uses high-strength alloy-steel drive pins that transmit braking loads while allowing controlled movement between the friction ring and hat as temperatures change.

This arrangement accommodates thermal expansion and helps the rotor maintain alignment with the brake pads during demanding competition use.

Anti-noise spring washers help control unwanted rattling when the brakes are cold.

Curved-Vane Internal Cooling

GiroDisc uses a curved internal cooling-vane design developed for racing applications.

As the rotor rotates, the internal vanes help move cooling air through the friction ring, supporting heat management during repeated high-energy braking events.

Combined with the floating two-piece construction, the design is well suited to the demanding braking requirements of GT4 Clubsport racing.

Slotted Racing Friction Surface

The GiroDisc rotor features a slotted friction surface intended for use with high-performance and competition brake pads.

The slots help maintain a consistent pad-to-rotor interface during repeated braking cycles and provide an alternative to drilled friction surfaces.

Replace the Rings – Keep the Hats

One of the biggest advantages of the GiroDisc two-piece system is long-term serviceability.

Once the friction rings reach their service limit, the existing GiroDisc aluminum hats can be retained as long as they remain serviceable.
