Demon Speed replacement fuel cell foam kit for the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport equipped with the 115-liter fuel cell.

For 115L fuel cells only. If your 718 GT4 Clubsport has the 80L fuel cell, use our separate 80L foam kit.

This kit uses our updated gray fuel cell foam, selected for improved resistance to deterioration and breakdown compared with the original-style foam.

Each piece is precision-cut specifically for the 718 GT4 Clubsport 115L fuel cell to simplify installation and provide proper fit within the cell.

Fuel Cell Foam Is a Service Item

Fuel cell foam deteriorates over time from exposure to fuel, heat and repeated use. As the foam ages, it can begin to break down and lose its ability to properly control fuel movement inside the cell.

Degraded foam can also create debris within the fuel system, potentially contributing to restricted fuel flow and fuel pump or filter problems.

Porsche Motorsport recommends replacing the fuel cell foam every two years.

Replacing the foam as part of scheduled maintenance is considerably easier than dealing with deteriorated foam and fuel-delivery problems at the track.

Updated Gray Fuel Cell Foam

Demon Speed uses an updated gray fuel cell foam with improved resistance to deterioration and breakdown compared with the original-style foam.

Fuel cell foam is continuously exposed to racing fuel, heat and repeated use. Over time, older foam can deteriorate and begin to shed material into the fuel cell.

The updated gray foam provides improved durability while maintaining the fuel-control and safety functions required in a racing fuel cell.

Precision-Cut Complete Foam Kit

This is not generic fuel cell foam that must be cut and fitted by the installer.

The Demon Speed kit is precision-cut specifically for the Porsche 718 GT4 Clubsport 115L fuel cell.

The complete kit provides the foam required to replace the aging material in the fuel cell while maintaining the intended internal foam configuration.

Why Fuel Cell Foam Is Important

Fuel cell foam performs several important functions within a racing fuel cell:
