Description

This kit includes everything you need to update your quarter glass windows to the 991.2 style of push in pins.

The 991.1 GT3 Cup cars have side windows which are attached by push in aluminum pins into a rubber gromet.  The aluminum pin is attached to the lexan window by glue.

After use, vibration, heat, and the elements in general, the glue gives up.

Porsche’s solution to this was to change the windows in the 991.2 to have a push in pin with threads in it, a hole in the window, and a screw/washer holding it all together.

As a 991.1 owner, you can update to the 991.2 windows by buying a pair of them from Motorsports for over $500 each.

Now, you can buy the 991.1 window update kit from Demon Speed.  The kit includes everything you need to make your 991.1 windows like the 991.2.

6 aluminum threaded press in pins

6 sets of washers and screws

Template for drilling the 3 holes in each window.
