Description

Sachs Front Strut / Shock Absorber – Porsche 991 GT3 Cup

Genuine Sachs front shock absorber for the Porsche 991 GT3 Cup, available as either the replacement inner strut or as a complete assembly with the outer housing.

Sachs is the original shock manufacturer for the 991 GT3 Cup, making this the correct replacement when servicing worn or damaged front dampers and maintaining the original Porsche Motorsport suspension configuration.

Inner Strut or Complete Assembly

In most cases, you do not need to replace the complete shock assembly.

The internal Sachs strut is available separately and can be installed into your existing factory housing. Unless the outer housing has been bent, damaged or otherwise compromised, replacing the inner strut is typically all that is required.

For cars with a damaged housing, Demon Speed also offers the complete front shock assembly, including the Sachs damper and outer housing.

Select the appropriate option above:

  • Inner Strut Only – For normal shock replacement or suspension refresh
  • Full Assembly – Includes the outer housing for damaged or compromised original assemblies

Genuine Sachs Motorsport Component

This is a genuine Sachs component designed for the Porsche 991 GT3 Cup suspension system.

Replacing worn dampers helps restore the consistent damping response and chassis control expected from the Cup car’s suspension, particularly on cars with significant track hours.

When Should Cup Car Shocks Be Replaced?

Race dampers are wear components. Performance can gradually deteriorate with use even when there is no visible external damage or leakage.

Consider inspecting or replacing the dampers when:

  • Suspension performance becomes inconsistent
  • The car has accumulated significant track hours
  • A shock shows signs of leakage
  • Damping performance has noticeably deteriorated
  • The suspension has sustained an impact
  • Refreshing the suspension as part of a race-car rebuild or major service
