The Porsche 996 GT3 Cup and GT3 R were developed for competition, where brake performance, durability, and serviceability are critical.

GiroDisc’s 350mm front rotor offering provides an alternative for race teams maintaining these earlier Porsche GT3 platforms.

Because rotor configurations can differ between GT3 Cup, GT3 R, and road-going GT3 models, the existing brake assembly should be verified before ordering.

Porsche 996 GT3 Cup Fitment – 2002–2005

The GiroDisc A1-151 front brake rotors are designed for the 2002–2005 Porsche 996 GT3 Cup equipped with the later 350mm front brake system.

Applications:

• 2002–2005 Porsche 996 GT3 Cup: Direct replacement for compatible 350mm front brake systems.
• 1998–2001 Porsche 996 GT3 Cup: Compatible only when the car has been upgraded to the later 350mm front brake configuration.

Earlier 996 GT3 Cup cars originally used 330mm front brake rotors. Upgrading these cars to the later 350mm brake system is a popular modification, but the original 330mm brake configuration is not compatible with these rotors.

Important: Verify the existing rotor diameter, caliper configuration, and mounting arrangement before ordering. Vehicle model year alone may not identify the brake system currently installed.
